Hello Folks..!!
"I Too Had a Love Story" is a book authored by "Ravinder Pal Singh"(Ravin) who was an author by change. This story was not a fiction nor illusion, but was a true life story of the author him self who took up writing it in the memory of his late girl friend.
Guys I am not much sure but I read this book in late 2010, and to be frank this was the first novel which i read. To my surprise this book moved me deep inside and made me solidified that true love is everlasting. And some were this book was even responsible for keeping me interested in reading. I don't feel even a bit of humiliation to say that i was in tears at many occasions while reading it, as if i was actually going through all that trauma and pain which Ravin was going through.
I don't think he was able to tussle with the loss he has been through. I learnt from his various interviews and chat shows on you tube, that he took up writing only to get out of the enticing urge to take drugs and booze. His expedition has made him a better man today and a well known Novelist in the country. If you think what has induced me to write about a book which has been long read by me, well its to make people know what it was actually about and you would know what made me write this at the end of the article.
"I Too Had a Love Story" is a anecdote of a courtship which has not seen its end, i.e. getting married would only be considered has a perfect end. This was Ravinder Singh's true love story with which he has debuted into the world of Novels. He was very simple, pleasant and narrated it in a very lame man language.
The story begins with Ravin deciding to marry and registering himself at a Matrimonial website. In persuite for a suitable profile which lead him to Khushi, whom he tries to contact and after some struggle finally he is able to contact her. After a quite while, with regular SMS's, On call conversations and family discussions ultimately they started to like and then love each other. As everything was going well with both the families has given a green signal to their love and which is all set to end in a bond of marriage.
By the time when they start to enjoy their temptation and fragrance of true love, there comes the heartbreak that no reader would have expected. And the rest is History. As I cant make you feel it,as you can't make it until you read the book yourself.
As I said earlier i would revel what made me write about this book now. I adore his love for Khushi who is no more and yet so alive in his thoughts and memories. I wish god will give each of us whatever we want and whosoever we love in our life. "As they say life doesn't happen again and again, life is just once: make the best use of it". If you love someone, please do make them read this beautiful love story.
Do share your thoughts!!
Regards
Aditya Macharla
